Optional Ingredients

  • 1 cup Italian seasoned crumbs For variation

Method

Preparation
  1. Pat pickle slices dry with paper towels.
  2. Dust pickles in flour, then dunk in beaten eggs, and finally roll in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  3. Place in the air fryer basket with some space between each piece.
  4. Spray lightly with cooking spray for the best crunch.
Cooking

  2. Cook for 7-9 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking for even crispiness.

Notes

Do not crowd the air fryer basket for best results. For a gluten-free version, substitute flour and breadcrumbs with gluten-free alternatives. Optionally, soak pickles in buttermilk before dredging for more flavor.
