- In a small pot, bring 2.5 cups of filtered water to a gentle boil.
- Add cumin seeds and fennel seeds to the boiling water. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes to release their flavors.
- Meanwhile, soak basil seeds in room-temperature water for 10-15 minutes until they swell and form a gel-like texture.
- Strain the tea into a mug, discarding the simmered seeds.
- Stir in the soaked basil seeds. Add fresh lemon juice or a cinnamon stick if desired for extra flavor. Sip warm and enjoy!
