  • 21 ounce can cherry pie filling
  • 14 ounce can crushed pineapple undrained
  • 15.25 ounces yellow cake mix
  • 12 tablespoons unsalted butter frozen and chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8-inch round cake pan with cooking spray.
  2. Dump cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple into the cake pan and spread evenly.
  3. Pour the cake mix evenly over the fruit and smooth out any large clumps.
  4. Dot the top with chopped, frozen butter, ensuring it's spread out evenly.
