- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade.
- Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips for serving.

This marinade also works wonderfully for grilling or sautéing other proteins like shrimp, steak, or pork.
