Ingredients

  • 2 medium Zucchini cut into fry shapes
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1 Egg

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the breading stations: In one bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In another, whisk the egg. In a third, combine panko and parmesan cheese.
  3. Dip each zucchini fry first into the flour mixture, then into the egg, and finally into the panko mixture. Ensure each fry is well-coated.
  4. Arrange the zucchini fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray them with cooking oil.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or marinara.

Notes

You can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the panko mixture if you prefer a spicy kick.
