  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 16 whole Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (for brownie batter)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for brownie batter)
  • 2 large eggs (for brownie batter)
  • 1 tsp organic vanilla extract (for brownie batter)
  • 1/3 cup premium baking cocoa
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for brownie batter)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup gourmet baking chocolate (chopped)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  2. Make the cookie dough by mixing melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Beat in the egg and organic vanilla extract. Fold in the flour, baking soda, and chocolate chips.
  3. Press the cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the pan.
  4. Layer the Oreo cookies evenly over the cookie dough base.
  5. Make the brownie batter by whisking melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and organic vanilla extract. Gently fold in premium baking cocoa, flour, salt, and chopped gourmet baking chocolate.
  6. Pour the brownie batter over the Oreos, spreading evenly to the edges.
  7. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.
