- Pick your lemon balm leaves and rinse them well. Shake off any extra water.
- Smash them gently with your hands, just to wake up the flavor.
- Throw the leaves into your favorite mug or a teapot.
- Pour the boiling water over. Let it sit (steep) for 7–10 minutes.
- Strain out the leaves. Add a squeeze of lemon or a tiny bit of honey if desired.
- Drink up. Warm is best, but you can chill it too if you like cold drinks.
Notes
Variations include adding ginger for enhanced flavor and benefits, or trying other herbs like mint or cinnamon for extra twists. Consider making an iced version in hot weather.
