Pink Himalayan Salt Diet Drink Recipe - Simple, Refreshing, and Mineral-Rich

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups (12 oz) filtered water – room temperature or lukewarm
  • 1/8 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt – fine or very finely crushed
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice – about half a lemon
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons raw honey or pure maple syrup – optional, to taste
  • 3–4 ice cubes – optional, if you prefer it cold
  • Optional add-ins: pinch of ground ginger or cinnamon, a few mint leaves, or 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Method

  1. Prep your water. Use room temperature or slightly warm water. It helps the salt and honey dissolve smoothly.
  2. Add the salt. Sprinkle in the pink Himalayan salt and stir until it’s fully dissolved. You shouldn’t see any crystals at the bottom.
  3. Squeeze the lemon. Add fresh lemon juice. Avoid bottled juice if you can—it’s less bright and often includes preservatives.
  4. Sweeten lightly. Stir in honey or maple syrup if you like a touch of sweetness. Keep it minimal for a balanced “diet” drink.
  5. Customize. Add ice for a refreshing version, or toss in mint, ginger, or a splash of apple cider vinegar for extra zing.
  6. Taste and adjust. If it’s too salty, add more water or lemon. If it’s too sour, a tiny bit more honey can help.
  7. Drink soon. Enjoy within 10–15 minutes for the best flavor and freshness.
