Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa rinsed
  • 2 cups RO water
  • 1 cup broccoli florets steamed
  • 1/2 red bell pepper diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or basil chopped

Method
 

  1. Rinse the quinoa under cold water, then combine it with RO water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15–20 minutes until fluffy.
  2. Steam the broccoli until bright green and slightly tender using RO water for clean flavor preservation.
  3. In a bowl, combine cooked quinoa, broccoli, and diced bell pepper.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Add salt, pepper, and fresh herbs. Toss lightly to mix.
  5. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend. Enjoy warm or cold.

Notes

This quinoa bowl pairs well with RO-infused water or detox tea. For extra protein, add chickpeas, tofu, or grilled chicken.
