Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a mini muffin tin or line it with parchment paper.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut into approximately two-inch squares.
Assembly
- Press each pastry square into the muffin tin wells.
- Cube the brie cheese and place a piece into each pastry cup.
- Add a small spoonful of cranberry sauce on top of the brie.
- Sprinkle chopped pistachios over each cup.
- Optionally, add a dash of cracked black pepper.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving to prevent burns.
Notes
Keep puff pastry cold before baking to avoid sogginess. Don’t overfill the pastry cups to prevent mess. These can be prepared ahead of time and baked when ready.
