Method
- Measure all spices carefully and add them to a mixing bowl or spice jar.
- Stir or shake the ingredients until well combined and uniform in texture.
- Store the seasoning in an airtight container and keep in a cool, dry place.
- To use: Apply 1½ to 2 tablespoons of seasoning per pound of steak before cooking. Let it marinate with oil and lime juice for 30 minutes.
Notes
Feel free to double or triple the recipe and use it as a versatile Tex-Mex seasoning for chicken, shrimp, or vegetables. Store up to 3 months.
