- Pour room temperature water into a glass.
- Add apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, ginger, cinnamon, cayenne, salt, and chia seeds.
- If using, stir in berberine powder.
- Let the mixture sit for 3 minutes to allow chia seeds to swell.
- Stir again and drink slowly on an empty stomach.
Notes
This drink is best consumed first thing in the morning. Avoid using hot water to preserve ingredient benefits. Shake or stir before drinking if ingredients settle.
